Abstract

Prior to the Palestine project, Anne expected to become an Agricultural Engineer with the USDA. Now, she is on a Ph.D. track, doing research on global competency attributes and facilitating Purdue's Global Design Team opportunities. Anne is looking at the global learning activities of Purdue University's College of Engineering, under the advisement of Professors P.K. Imbrie of Engineering Education and R. H. Mohtar of Global Engineering and Agricultural and Biological Engineering, as she oversees 5 teams, participating in one of these. Today, Anne's career goals include a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Biological Engineering, working with an international agency on sustainable irrigation technologies and influencing the future of engineering education.
