Abstract
John was instrumental in setting into motion Single Stream Recycling at Babson College. John's efforts were successful in convincing Babson administrators of both the economic and societal value of this program. He is able to leave Babson a better place than it was when he started through the implementation of existing science. His ultimate goal is to move Babson to a zero waste policy and his personal philosophy is "there is no away in throw it away". Because of this, we feel that John is deserving of consideration for this award.
